Fitter Apprentice



As a Fitter Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting and learning from experienced fitters in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various mechanical systems. This full-time position in Bergen offers a competitive salary of 1000$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced fitters in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems
- Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete tasks
- Operate machinery to fabricate parts and components
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot issues and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations

Requirements:
- No prior experience required as on-the-job training will be provided
- Must be a quick learner with a strong interest in mechanics
- Able to work full-time hours with occasional overtime as needed
- Must have own visa or work permit for Bergen, Norway (international students welcome)
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments (e.g. confined spaces)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
