Foundry Supervisor


We are currently seeking an experienced Foundry Supervisor to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As a Foundry Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the foundry operations, including production, quality control, and safety. This is a leadership role that requires excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all foundry operations, including casting, molding, melting, and finishing processes
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders
- Maintain quality control standards and ensure products meet customer specifications
- Implement safety protocols and monitor compliance with safety regulations
- Train and supervise foundry workers to ensure efficient and effective operation of equipment
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production schedules and resolve any issues or delays
- Keep accurate records of production data, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Foundry Supervisor in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of foundry processes, including casting techniques, melting procedures, and finishing methods
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of safety regulations and experience implementing safety protocols
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in using computer programs such as Microsoft Office

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this role. A degree or certification in metallurgy or engineering is preferred.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per month.
