Entry-Level JAVA Developer

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Entry-Level JAVA Developer to join our dynamic team in Funchal. The ideal candidate will have strong coding skills and a desire to learn and grow in the field of software development. As an entry-level developer, you will work closely with senior developers and project managers to design, develop, and maintain software applications using JAVA programming language. You will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and gain hands-on experience with different technologies and tools.

Responsibilities:
- Develop new software applications using JAVA programming language
- Debug, troubleshoot, and fix issues in existing software applications
- Collaborate with senior developers to design efficient and scalable solutions
- Write clean, well-documented code following industry best practices
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in software development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge of core JAVA concepts such as OOP, data structures, algorithms, etc.
- Familiarity with web development frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or Oracle
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills
