JAVA Developer - Contract


We are a leading software development company in Funchal seeking a highly skilled and experienced JAVA Developer to join our team on a contract basis. As a JAVA Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex software solutions for our clients. This is a contract position with the potential for extension.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and implement efficient and scalable JAVA-based applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze user needs and develop appropriate technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in existing systems
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry developments to continuously improve our products

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a JAVA Developer
- Strong knowledge of Java programming language and its core concepts such as multi-threading, collections, and design patterns
- Experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate, or other similar frameworks
- Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of $900 per month for this contract position. Accommodation will be provided during your stay in Funchal. We will also cover the cost of your visa application and provide you with a return ticket to your home country.
