Guest Services Concierge


Our luxury hotel in Nairobi is seeking a Guest Services Concierge to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As a Guest Services Concierge, you will be responsible for creating an unforgettable experience for our guests by anticipating their needs and going above and beyond to exceed their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in process
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation options
- Make reservations for guests at restaurants, shows, and other activities
- Arrange transportation for guests including taxis, car rentals, and airport transfers
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Maintain a neat and organized lobby area at all times
- Assist with luggage handling when necessary
- Provide personalized services such as booking spa treatments or arranging special requests
- Keep track of room availability and make recommendations for upgrades or changes as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or tourism is a plus
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality industry preferred
- Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage (especially Arabic or Tagalog)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient in computer systems (such as Opera)
- Must have the legal right to work in Kenya
