Debt Collection Specialist

Our fast-paced, dynamic company is seeking a Debt Collection Specialist to join our team in Zagreb. As a Debt Collection Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting outstanding debts from clients and maintaining accurate records of all debt collection activities. This role will require strong communication skills and the ability to negotiate effectively with clients to ensure timely payment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contact clients through phone, email or mail to collect outstanding debts
- Review and analyze client accounts to determine the best course of action for collecting payments
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all debt collection activity
- Collaborate with other teams within the company to resolve any client issues that may impact payment
- Monitor client accounts to identify potential risks and escalate issues as needed
- Provide regular reports on debt collection activities to management

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in debt collection or related field
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience working with CRM software is preferred
- Fluency in English is required, additional languages are a plus
