Contract Software Developer (Lisbon)



We are hiring a skilled Contract Software Developer to join our team in Lisbon. As a developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying software solutions according to client requirements. You should have experience in software development and be proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python. The ideal candidate should also have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. This is a contract position with accommodation and visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities:
- Design, code, and modify software solutions according to client needs
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing software systems
- Collaborate with other developers and team members to ensure project success
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Develop technical documentation for reference and reporting purposes
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in software development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience in software development using Java, C++, or Python
- Strong understanding of software design principles and patterns
- Experience working with databases such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience developing web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
