Junior Software Developer - Lisbon, Portugal


We are searching for a talented and motivated Junior Software Developer to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. As a Junior Software Developer, you will work closely with our experienced developers to design, develop, and maintain software applications. Your main responsibilities will include writing code, debugging and troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
- Write efficient, clean, and well-documented code according to specifications
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new features
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
- Continuously improve existing applications by implementing new features or enhancements
- Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a software developer
- Solid understanding of programming languages such as Java or C++
- Familiarity with front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with database management systems (MySQL, Oracle)
- Knowledge of software development principles and methodologies (Agile)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong communication skills in English (both oral and written)
