We are seeking an experienced and skilled Indian Baker to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of Indian pastries, breads, and other baked goods according to traditional recipes. Your creativity and attention to detail will play a crucial role in providing our customers with high-quality baked goods that meet their taste preferences. This is a part-time position with the potential for full-time employment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare doughs and batters according to traditional Indian recipes
- Roll, cut, shape, and proof dough for various breads and pastries
- Operate commercial ovens to bake goods at appropriate temperatures and times
- Decorate and finish baked goods with glazes, icings, fillings, or toppings as required
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients to maintain freshness and quality
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary supplies
- Adhere to all food safety standards and regulations while maintaining a clean work environment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Baker in an Indian bakery or restaurant setting
- Proficient in preparing various types of Indian breads such as naan, roti, paratha, etc.
- Strong knowledge of traditional Indian pastry recipes including samosas, pakoras, gulab jamun, etc.
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain consistency in product quality
- Good physical stamina as the job requires standing for long periods of time

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month.
