Senior Accountant


A growing accounting firm in Ar Rumaythiyah is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of our clients' businesses. This is a contract position with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct monthly and annual close processes for clients' accounts
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and potential issues
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for clients' businesses
- Train and supervise junior accounting staff

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Prior experience working with African clients preferred

Salary:
$1800 per month (tax-free)
