Indian Cuisine Chef
The Indian Cuisine Chef will be responsible for creating and preparing authentic Indian dishes for our restaurant in Siauliai. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Indian cuisine, with experience in both traditional and modern techniques. They should possess excellent cooking skills, a creative flair, and the ability to work well under pressure. This role requires someone with a passion for food and a desire to continuously develop their culinary skills. The Indian Cuisine Chef will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and organization in the kitchen. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$ per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare authentic Indian dishes according to our menu
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented in accordance with our high standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times
- Monitor food supplies and order ingredients as needed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food quality
- Develop new menu items and specials based on seasonal ingredients or customer feedback
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into cooking methods
- Adhere to all food safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Indian Cuisine Chef or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations and popular dishes
- Ability to create traditional recipes from scratch as well as add your own creative twist
- Strong understanding of flavor combinations, cooking techniques, and spice use
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong communication skills to effectively train kitchen staff
- Attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
