Head Chef - Indian and Nepali Cuisine
We are searching for a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team in Siauliai. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing authentic Indian and Nepali dishes while managing the kitchen operations and staff. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per month.
Responsibilities:
- Design menus for Indian and Nepali cuisine that showcase traditional flavors and ingredients
- Source high-quality, fresh ingredients from local markets
- Manage inventory and ordering to maintain adequate supplies
- Train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and recipes
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in an Indian or Nepali restaurant
- In-depth knowledge of Indian and Nepali cuisine, spices, and cooking techniques
- Creativity in developing new dishes while maintaining authenticity
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Fluent in English with good communication skills
