Mason - Contract Position in Eldoret, Kenya


We are a construction company seeking an experienced Mason for a contract position in Eldoret, Kenya. The ideal candidate will be an Indian national with at least 3 years of experience in masonry work. This is a full-time, contract role with a salary of 1300$.

Responsibilities:
- Lay bricks and other materials to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures
- Cut or break bricks to fit corners or edges
- Read and interpret blueprints and building plans
- Mix mortar and grout according to specifications
- Use tools such as trowels, levels, and plumb lines to ensure proper alignment
- Repair and maintain existing structures as needed
- Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Mason
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans
- Strong knowledge of different types of bricks and their properties
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately
under pressure
- Familiarity with safety procedures for handling construction materials
and use of tools
