Job Title: Typesetter



We are seeking a highly skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Karachi, Pakistan. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for print or digital publication. This is an entry-level position, so no prior experience is required.

Responsibilities:
- Format and arrange text and images for print or digital publication
- Use typesetting software to create layouts according to design specifications
- Ensure accuracy of spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure cohesive final product
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in typesetting technology
- Work efficiently under tight deadlines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field preferred
- Proficient in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Familiarity with industry standard book layouts and typographic conventions
- Willingness to learn new software programs as needed

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 USD per month.

Location:
This position is located in Karachi, Pakistan.
