Radio Technician

We are hiring a skilled Radio Technician to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radio communication equipment. This includes troubleshooting technical issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring all equipment is in compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with radio technology and possess strong problem-solving skills. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1200 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and set up radio communication equipment according to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with radios and related equipment
- Repair or replace defective components as needed
- Update software/firmware as required
- Maintain records of repairs, installations, and maintenance activities
- Ensure all equipment complies with industry standards and regulations
- Provide technical support to other team members as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification or degree preferred
- At least 1 year of experience working with radio technology or similar field
- Strong understanding of radio frequency principles and troubleshooting techniques
- Knowledge of relevant software, such as programming software for radios
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Good communication skills in both English and Portuguese

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position based in Braga, Portugal. The working hours are typically during regular business hours, but there may be occasional evening or weekend work required for emergency repairs. The candidate must have their own valid visa to work in Portugal.
