Office Assistant in Doha, Qatar
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support the daily operations of our office. This is a contract job with a salary of 1700$ per month and accommodation provided.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Answer incoming phone calls and redirect them as necessary
- Maintain and update filing systems, both electronic and paper
- Order office supplies and keep track of inventory
- Schedule appointments and meetings for staff members
- Assist with organizing and coordinating company events or meetings
- Prepare documents, reports, and presentations as needed
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail
- Handle basic accounting tasks such as invoicing, processing payments, and reconciling expenses
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus
- Proven work experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar role
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with basic knowledge of accounting software
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) in English; fluency in other languages is a plus
- Professional attitude with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be willing to work on a contract basis
