Excavator Operator

As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move and grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials during construction or demolition projects. Your duties will include safely operating the excavator and performing daily maintenance checks, following project plans and blueprints, digging trenches or holes as needed, and loading materials onto trucks for transport. You will also be responsible for communicating with other team members to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators. You must also possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and additional certifications in heavy equipment operation are preferred. Fluency in English is required for communication with team members and reading project plans.

This position requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in all weather conditions. You must also be able to operate the excavator safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations. Experience working on construction sites is a plus.
