Industrial Alpinist

We are in search of an experienced and skilled Industrial Alpinist to join our team in Washington. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in industrial climbing techniques and safety protocols. They will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks at great heights, including maintenance, inspections, and repairs on buildings, structures, and equipment. The candidate must be physically fit and possess excellent problem-solving skills. The position offers a competitive salary of $1700 per month with accommodation provided. As an Industrial Alpinist, your responsibilities will include conducting thorough safety inspections of equipment before use, ensuring all safety protocols are followed while working at heights, and completing tasks efficiently and accurately. You will also be responsible for maintaining equipment and keeping records of all completed work.

The ideal candidate will have experience in rope access techniques, including single rope technique (SRT) and double rope technique (DRT). You must also have knowledge of rigging principles and the ability to work with various tools and equipment while suspended at heights. Strong communication skills are necessary as you will be required to communicate with team members on the ground.

In this role, you may also be required to work on a variety of projects such as cleaning windows or installing signage on tall buildings. Therefore, it is crucial that you have excellent balance and coordination skills as well as the ability to work well under pressure.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Your physical fitness is essential as this job requires climbing stairs or ladders for extended periods while carrying heavy equipment.
