Finisher for Carpentry Workshop in Karachi


We are a well-established carpentry workshop in Karachi, seeking a skilled Finisher to join our team. As a Finisher, you will be responsible for the final touches on our woodwork projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and client expectations. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1800$.

Responsibilities:
- Sand, stain, and varnish finished wood products to achieve desired color and smoothness
- Use hand and power tools to shape and smooth wood surfaces
- Apply topcoats and finishes to protect and enhance the appearance of wood products
- Inspect finished products for defects and make any necessary repairs or adjustments
- Work with other carpenters to ensure consistency in project finishes
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times

Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a finisher in the carpentry industry
- Strong knowledge of wood types, finishes, and techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications
- Detail-oriented with an eye for quality and precision
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move heavy objects as needed
- Good time-management skills to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality

Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification or training in finishing or related field
- Experience using spray guns for finishing applications
- Fluent in Urdu or Punjabi (in addition to English)
