Chef de Cuisine
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef de Cuisine to join our team in Eldoret. As a Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and production of high-quality dishes, managing the kitchen staff, and ensuring the overall success of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute menus that meet the preferences and dietary needs of our customers
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a chef in a high-volume restaurant
- Proven track record of creating delicious and visually appealing dishes
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Fluent in English (proficiency in Malayalam is preferred but not required)
Salary:
1100$ per month
