Excavator Operator

We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Malindi. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate, move and grade earth or other materials for construction projects. Your main duties will include inspecting equipment, following safety protocols, and maintaining accurate records of work performed. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Excavator Operator, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a contract position with a salary of $900 per month. Accommodation and visa assistance can be provided for foreign candidates.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Excavator Operator
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to operate heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to excavate, move and grade earth or other materials according to project plans
- Inspect equipment before each use and report any issues or malfunctions immediately
- Follow all safety protocols on job sites at all times
- Maintain accurate records of work performed including daily logs and maintenance reports
- Communicate with supervisors and team members effectively
- Adhere to project timelines and schedules
- Ensure proper storage and maintenance of equipment when not in use
