Plasterer


We are hiring a skilled Plasterer to join our team in Shan, India. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying and finishing plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces. Your duties will include mixing and applying plaster, smoothing and shaping surfaces, and ensuring that surfaces are level and free of imperfections. The ideal candidate will have experience in both traditional and modern plastering techniques and will possess strong attention to detail. This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods of time and working at heights. This position does not include accommodation but is open to all genders.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by removing old plaster or debris
- Mix and apply plaster using hand or machine tools
- Smooth plaster using trowels, brushes or spray guns
- Shape corners and edges for a neat finish
- Ensure surfaces are level and free of imperfections
- Repair damaged areas by patching or replacing plaster
- Read blueprints or specifications to determine the work required
- Work at heights using scaffolding or ladders
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plasterer in both traditional and modern techniques
- Ability to read blueprints or specifications
- Familiarity with various materials such as gypsum, cement, lime, etc.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Strong attention to detail
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Comfortable working at heights
- Fluent in English
