Database Administrator

We are currently seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our growing team in Herzliya. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database management systems and be able to ensure the performance, integrity, and security of our databases. The role will involve working closely with our development and IT teams to design, build, and maintain databases that meet the needs of our organization.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software
- Monitor database performance and optimize as needed
- Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support
- Ensure data is secure and backed up regularly
- Design and implement data models
- Develop stored procedures, triggers, and functions
- Collaborate with development team on database design for new applications
- Keep up-to-date with emerging database technologies and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
- Proficient in SQL language and experience with at least one relational database management system (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server)
- Knowledge of data backup, recovery, security protocols
- Experience with database design for web applications preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Fluent in English (Hebrew proficiency is a plus)
