Senior Commercial Architect

As a Senior Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of commercial buildings in the vibrant city of Washington. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and create innovative solutions that meet their requirements while adhering to budget and timeline constraints. This role requires strong leadership skills as you will be managing a team of architects and collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals.

Responsibilities:
- Lead project teams in the design, planning, and construction of commercial buildings
- Conduct site visits and meetings with clients to understand project requirements
- Develop architectural drawings, plans, and specifications
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success
- Manage project budgets and timelines
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Minimum of 7 years experience as a commercial architect
- Extensive knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other architectural software
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
