Facade Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Facade Technician to join our team in Atlanta. As a Facade Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining building facades to ensure they are safe, functional, and visually appealing. Your role will involve working with a variety of materials such as glass, metal, concrete, and stone to create or repair facades that meet client specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Install new facades on buildings according to design plans and specifications
- Repair damaged or deteriorating facades using appropriate tools and materials
- Perform regular maintenance on existing facades to prevent damage or hazards
- Collaborate with architects and contractors to ensure all work meets building codes and safety standards
- Select appropriate materials for each project based on durability, aesthetics, and cost-effectiveness
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders throughout the project

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certification is preferred
- Proven experience as a facade technician or similar role in the construction industry
- Proficiency in English; fluency in Malayalee is a plus but not required
- Ability to read and interpret design plans and technical drawings
- Physically fit with the ability to work at heights using scaffolding or lifts if necessary
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Contract job: This is a contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Experience: No previous experience required; training will be provided.

Freshers welcome: We welcome candidates with no previous experience in facade work; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Location: This position is based in Atlanta, but occasional travel to other locations may be required for projects.
