Entry-Level Tiler

Our company in Svalbard is seeking an entry-level Tiler to join our team. As a Tiler, you will be responsible for applying tiles to walls, floors, and other surfaces in various settings such as homes, offices, and commercial buildings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the tiling industry.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut tiles to fit specific spaces
- Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning and leveling them
- Mix and apply adhesive to secure tiles in place
- Ensure tiles are properly aligned and spaced
- Install grout between tiles and clean excess grout
- Make necessary repairs or adjustments to completed work
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in tiling is preferred but not required
- Ability to work with various types of tools and equipment
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting tiles
- Detail-oriented with good hand-eye coordination
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting throughout the day

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Svalbard. While local candidates are preferred, we are open to candidates from other locations who are willing to relocate at their own expense.

Benefits:
We offer a free visa and ticket for non-local candidates. However, accommodation will not be provided.
