Pastry Chef - Indian Cuisine

We are in search of a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in Sofia. As our Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious Indian desserts and pastries. You must have a passion for Indian cuisine and a deep understanding of its traditional flavors and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new and unique dessert recipes that showcase the flavors of Indian cuisine
- Execute all pastry orders efficiently and timely
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and freshness
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all pastry ingredients
- Manage inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs to maintain consistency in recipes
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef with expertise in Indian desserts
- Knowledge of traditional Indian flavors and cooking techniques
- Ability to create unique dessert recipes that cater to different dietary needs (e.g. vegan, gluten-free)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and creativity in plating desserts
- Ability to communicate effectively in English

Salary: 1100$

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria (open to candidates from India with valid work permit)
