Plasterboard Worker



As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and repairing plasterboard walls, ceilings, and partitions in residential and commercial buildings. You will work with a variety of tools and materials to ensure that all surfaces are smooth, level, and ready for painting or wallpapering.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit specific areas
- Install plasterboard using screws or adhesive
- Smooth out seams and joints using joint compound
- Sand down surfaces to create a smooth finish
- Repair damaged areas of plasterboard
- Add insulation between walls if needed
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs

Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Plasterboard Worker or in a similar role preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials as needed
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)
- Biometric passport or willingness to obtain one

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position, with the standard working hours being 40 hours per week. The salary for this role is 1200$, with the potential for overtime pay. This job does not include accommodation, so applicants should be able to commute or arrange their own housing. Students are welcome to apply for this position.
