Part-Time Fitter


We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team in Almada on a part-time basis. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for installing and assembling various mechanical components according to blueprints and technical specifications. You will work closely with our full-time fitters and other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in mechanical assembly, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. This position is suitable for men who have a passion for hands-on work and are looking for flexible part-time employment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Install, assemble, and align mechanical components such as pipes, valves, pumps, and motors
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to complete tasks
- Ensure all components are installed accurately according to specifications
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the installation process
- Keep accurate records of work completed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in mechanical assembly is preferred
- Previous experience working as a fitter or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
- Detail-oriented with excellent manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
