Job Title: Interpreter for Indian Tourists in Los Angeles


We are seeking a skilled Interpreter to join our team in Los Angeles and provide language assistance to Indian tourists. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between English-speaking individuals and Indian tourists who may not speak or understand English fluently.

Your main duty will be to accompany Indian tourists on their travels in Los Angeles and act as their interpreter during various activities such as sightseeing tours, shopping trips, and restaurant visits. You will also assist with any necessary translations of documents or conversations that may arise during the trip.

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent verbal communication skills in both English and at least one Indian language (such as Hindi, Tamil, or Punjabi). Previous experience as an Interpreter is preferred but not required. It is essential that you have a deep understanding of Indian culture, customs, and traditions to accurately interpret for our clients.

This job requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability as you may need to work irregular hours based on the tourists' schedule. You must also possess strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks while on the job.

As this position involves working closely with Indian tourists, it is essential that the candidate has a friendly and welcoming demeanor. You must be patient, understanding, and able to build rapport with clients quickly.

In addition to your language skills and cultural knowledge, we require all candidates to have a valid biometric passport for international travel purposes. Fluency in any additional languages is a plus.
