Database Administrator (Contract Position) - Faisalabad, Pakistan


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Faisalabad, Pakistan. As a Contract Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in database administration, preferably in a fast-paced environment. This is a contract position, but there is potential for it to become a permanent role based on performance.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the company's databases to ensure optimal performance and uptime
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions
- Perform database backups and disaster recovery procedures
- Analyze database performance and make necessary optimizations
- Identify and implement security measures to protect sensitive data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new databases or database changes
- Develop and maintain documentation related to databases, including data standards, procedures, and guidelines

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator
- Strong knowledge of SQL language and experience with database management systems such as Oracle or MySQL
- Experience with database backup and recovery procedures
- Knowledge of data security best practices
- Familiarity with database design principles and data normalization techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
