JAVA Developer


Our rapidly growing tech startup in Faro is seeking a highly skilled and experienced JAVA Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex software applications and systems using JAVA programming language.

As a JAVA Developer, you should have a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and extensive experience with JAVA development tools. You will be expected to work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement high-quality code.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications using JAVA programming language
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design technical solutions
- Write clean, efficient, and high-quality code following best practices and coding standards
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues in a timely manner
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of developed applications
- Continuously update technical knowledge by researching new technologies and tools in the market
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency across the team

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of professional experience as a JAVA Developer or similar role
- Extensive experience with JAVA programming language and development tools such as Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with web application development using Spring Framework is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively
- Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills
- Team player with excellent communication skills
