Pastry Chef for High-End Restaurant in Ar-Ruwais, Canada



We are seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Ar-Ruwais, Canada. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing our dessert menu, as well as overseeing the production of all pastries and baked goods for the restaurant.

Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative dessert menu items that align with the restaurant's concept and standards
- Prepare and execute all pastry orders according to customer preferences and specifications
- Oversee the production of all pastries, including breads, cakes, and other baked goods
- Ensure quality control of all pastry items leaving the kitchen
- Manage inventory and ordering of pastry ingredients and supplies
- Train and supervise junior pastry cooks to maintain consistency and quality in all pastry items
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen during service hours
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field preferred
- Strong knowledge of different types of pastries, baking techniques, and flavor profiles
- Ability to create unique dessert items while also maintaining classic recipes
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and supervise junior staff members
- Attention to detail with a focus on presentation and quality control
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
