Android Developer

Our growing tech company in Vilnius is seeking a highly skilled Android Developer to join our team. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the latest versions of Android and a passion for creating innovative and user-friendly mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Write clean, maintainable code that is scalable and well-documented

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Android Developer
- Experience with Java, Kotlin, and the Android SDK
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs such as Retrofit, OkHttp, Gson, etc.
- Experience with UI/UX design principles and material design guidelines
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban

Salary: Competitive salary starting at 1400$ (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Vilnius (candidates must be eligible to work in Lithuania)
