Office Assistant - Bungoma, Kenya
Our company is currently seeking a proactive and organized Office Assistant to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or take messages
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and emails
- Maintain office supplies and order new supplies when necessary
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for office staff
- Prepare and send out correspondence, such as letters, emails, and memos
- Keep track of office expenses and report them to the appropriate person
- Assist in organizing company events and meetings
- Perform general clerical duties, such as photocopying, filing, and data entry
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration is a plus
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data entry tasks
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Salary: 1300$ per month (negotiable)
