Entry-level Claims Adjuster

Our company in Zagreb is seeking an Entry-level Claims Adjuster to join our team. As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and settling insurance claims. Responsibilities:
- Investigate insurance claims by gathering information from various sources such as witnesses, police reports, and medical records
- Analyze and evaluate the information collected to determine coverage and liability
- Negotiate settlements with claimants or their representatives
- Keep accurate records of all claims activity and communicate updates to relevant parties
- Ensure timely and fair resolution of claims while adhering to company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments such as underwriting and legal for complex or high-value claims

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make decisions based on available information
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred:
- Prior experience in the insurance industry (specifically in claims handling)
- Knowledge of insurance policies and procedures
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
