Shaper - Furniture Design and Production Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and creative Shaper to join our furniture design and production team in Pula. As a Shaper, you will be responsible for shaping and molding wood into various furniture pieces using various tools and techniques. You will also be responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring the quality of our furniture meets our high standards.

Responsibilities:
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machines to shape and mold wood into various furniture pieces
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents
- Operate woodworking equipment such as saws, planers, routers, and sanders
- Ensure accuracy and precision in all measurements
- Inspect finished products for quality control purposes
- Collaborate with designers and other team members to create unique furniture designs
- Train and supervise junior shapers in the production process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Shaper or similar role in furniture design/production
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred
- Knowledge of different types of wood materials
- Familiarity with different furniture styles/designs
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects

Salary: $1700 per month

City: Pula
