Land surveyor vacancy in Faro Portugal

Junior Land Surveyor

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Land Surveyor to join our team in Faro, Portugal. In this role, you will assist in conducting land surveys for various projects, including construction, mapping, and development. This is a full-time position with a salary of 900$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting land surveys using the latest equipment and technology
- Collect and analyze data to create accurate maps and measurements
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to address any concerns or questions
- Maintain records and prepare reports on survey findings
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety procedures
- Travel to various locations for surveying assignments

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field preferred
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one for international travel if necessary

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in land surveying or related field is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with CAD software for drafting and creating maps
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
