Back-End Developer

As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the server-side of web applications. This includes developing server-side logic, creating databases and APIs, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of web development principles and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for web applications
- Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Develop server-side logic using Java, PHP, or other programming languages
- Create databases to store application data
- Build APIs for external clients to access application data
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Implement security protocols to protect confidential information
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong understanding of web development principles (HTTP protocol, RESTful services)
- Experience working with programming languages like Java, PHP, or Python
- Knowledge of database design and management (MySQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
