Carpenter - Construction and Renovation Specialist



Our growing construction company in Nairobi is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team of experienced professionals. As a Carpenter, you will play an integral role in the construction and renovation process, utilizing your expertise to ensure high quality and timely completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans to determine materials needed for projects
- Measure, cut, shape, and join materials using various tools such as saws, drills, and hammers
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, trim work, and hardware
- Repair or replace damaged or rotting wood pieces
- Work with a variety of materials including wood, steel, drywall, and concrete
- Ensure all work meets safety regulations and building codes
- Collaborate with other team members such as electricians and plumbers to complete projects on time

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry
- Ability to read blueprints and use various tools accurately
- Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations
- Strong attention to detail with excellent measuring skills
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members

Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Nairobi (candidates from India preferred)
