Contract Carpenter in Nairobi, Kenya

We are in need of a skilled Carpenter to join our team on a contract basis in Nairobi, Kenya. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in carpentry and be able to work independently. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures such as furniture, cabinets, and fixtures. You must have excellent attention to detail and be able to follow blueprints and building plans accurately. This is a contract position with a salary of 1100$ per month. Candidates with Pakistani nationality are preferred but all nationalities are welcome to apply. English language proficiency is not required for this job.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to blueprints or drawings
- Cut and shape materials using hand or power tools
- Assemble structures using nails, screws, or other fasteners
- Install structures such as cabinets, shelves, and doors
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Proven experience as a Carpenter with knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
- Ability to read blueprints and building plans accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills
- Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Pakistani nationality preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively in English is not mandatory
