We are seeking a skilled Solar Installation Technician to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Solar Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining solar energy systems for residential and commercial properties. This is a part-time position without accommodation, ideal for students looking for hands-on experience in the renewable energy industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain solar panels and related equipment according to safety standards and industry regulations
- Conduct on-site surveys to determine optimal placement of solar panels and ensure maximum efficiency
- Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of installations
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues that may arise during or after installation
- Keep accurate records of materials used, time spent on each project, and any maintenance or repairs performed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in solar installation is preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in solar panel installation or related field
- Knowledge of electrical wiring and basic construction principles
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1300 per month.
