Dismantler Assistant



We are offering a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Dismantler Assistant. This is a contract position in the city of Almada, with a starting salary of 1700$. The ideal candidate does not need prior experience in this field, but should have a strong work ethic and be willing to learn. As a Dismantler Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced Dismantlers to disassemble and remove various parts from vehicles. This can include engines, transmissions, and other mechanical components. You will also be responsible for sorting and organizing these parts for proper disposal or recycling. Training and guidance will be provided by our senior staff members.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

- Assisting in the dismantling of vehicles using specialized tools and equipment
- Sorting and organizing removed parts
- Properly disposing or recycling dismantled parts as directed by senior staff
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Following all safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear at all times

This is an entry-level position, with potential for growth within our company for those who are dedicated and show strong performance. We value hard work, reliability, and attention to detail in our team members.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Basic mechanical knowledge is an asset but not required
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
- Must have reliable transportation to our facility in Almada
