Waiter/Waitress at a Busy Restaurant in Eldoret, Kenya

We are a bustling restaurant in the lively city of Eldoret, Kenya and we are seeking a skilled and friendly waiter/waitress to join our team. As a waiter/waitress, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests and ensuring that their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and escort them to their tables
- Present menus and take orders from customers
- Make recommendations on food and drink choices
- Serve food and drinks to customers
- Ensure accuracy of orders and timely delivery of meals
- Check on customers throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Handle any customer concerns or complaints
- Process payments using POS system
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area and tables

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Filipino language is a plus)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of food and beverages
- Ability to upsell menu items to increase sales
- Friendly and outgoing personality with a positive attitude
- Strong multitasking skills
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)

This is a part-time position without accommodation. However, we can assist with finding suitable housing options in the area.
