Milling Machine Operator


We are hiring a skilled Milling Machine Operator to join our dynamic team in Malindi. As a Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating milling machines to produce precision parts and components. You will use your technical expertise to read blueprints, adjust machine settings, and monitor the production process. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating milling machines, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
- Adjust machine settings to ensure precision and accuracy of finished products
- Monitor the production process to detect any issues or malfunctions
- Perform routine maintenance on machines as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance
- Follow safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating milling machines
- Strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings
- Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently

Preferred:
- Experience with CNC milling machines is an asset
- Knowledge of programming languages such as G-code
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
