Part-time Cashier in Porto

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team in Porto. In this role, you will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This is a part-time position with a salary of 900$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and process transactions using cash registers or POS systems
- Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit card payments
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to provide accurate information to customers
- Ensure that all products are properly priced and have the correct labels
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking bags and supplies as needed
- Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, returns, and exchanges

Requirements:
- Prior experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Basic math skills with the ability to quickly calculate change for customers
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
