Executive Chef - Muscat, Oman

As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen and creating high-quality dishes for our establishment in Muscat. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standard and meets customer expectations. You will also be responsible for managing kitchen staff, maintaining inventory levels, and adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. The ideal candidate must have a passion for cooking and possess excellent leadership skills. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1200$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that meet customers' preferences and seasonal availability
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to prepare high-quality dishes
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely ordering of supplies
- Maintain food safety standards in accordance with local health codes
- Oversee kitchen operations to ensure smooth running during peak hours
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items or specials
- Monitor food costs and work within budget constraints

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining restaurant or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to lead and manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized culinary institution
- Experience working in the Middle East region
- Ability to speak Arabic fluently
