Excavator Operator

We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, including excavators and backhoes, to dig trenches, foundations, and other structures. You will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators and other heavy machinery efficiently and safely
- Dig trenches, foundations, and other structures according to project specifications
- Load and unload materials using the excavator
- Inspect equipment before use and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Ensure work area is safe for operation of heavy machinery
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations
- Communicate with site supervisors to ensure smooth operation of projects

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating excavators or similar heavy machinery
- Knowledge of construction site safety protocols
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
- Physical strength to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time
- Good hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month.

Full Time Job:
This is a full time position, with working hours determined by project schedules. Overtime may be required.

Experience:
Previous experience as an Excavator Operator is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who shows potential.
