Front-End Developer

As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining visually appealing and user-friendly websites. Your primary focus will be on implementing designs provided by the UI/UX team, using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You will also collaborate with back-end developers to ensure smooth integration with server-side logic. This position requires a strong understanding of front-end web development techniques and best practices, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Implement designs provided by the UI/UX team using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Collaborate with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration with server-side logic
- Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability
- Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in front-end development
- Write clean, reusable code that follows industry standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in front-end web development
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience working with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation
- Familiarity with server-side CSS pre-processing platforms such as LESS or SASS
- Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Location: This position is located in Funchal, Portugal.

Salary: The salary for this position is $900 per month.
