Junior Accountant


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in Porto. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with daily accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This is an entry-level position ideal for freshers or recent graduates looking to gain experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
- Prepare and input journal entries
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts
- Assist with month-end close procedures
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Support senior accountants with various tasks as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Prior internship or work experience in accounting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Salary: $1100 per month, based on experience.
